Planning Division acts as a central coordinating unit on matters pertaining to planning and budgetary processes in the Ministry. The Division facilitates and coordinates inter departmental initiatives and programs in addition to undertaking cross sectoral matters.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br><br>\r\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\r\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Division spearheads in collaboration with line departments in formulating policies and five year and annual plans of the line departments and liaise with the central planning body of the government on budgetary matters and any other issues related to the implementation of the planned targets including submission of progress reports.
