The event was graced by the Hon\u2019ble Secretary and<\/span><span class=\"s6\">\u00a0provided direction to the team and reassured <\/span><span class=\"s6\">the <\/span><span class=\"s6\">Ministry\u2019s support in the implementation of the project.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\"><span class=\"s6\">The dry port facilities <\/span><span class=\"s6\">in <\/span><span class=\"s6\">Gelephu<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> and <\/span><span class=\"s6\">Nganglam<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> are expected to facilitate cross-border trade through improved cargo handling services<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> and bring economic benefits for the central, <\/span><span class=\"s6\">eastern<\/span><span class=\"s6\"> and southern dzongkhags<\/span><span class=\"s6\">. <\/span><span class=\"s6\">The project is being implemented with the financial support from the Government of India and expected to be completed in two <\/span><span class=\"s6\">years\u2019 time<\/span><span class=\"s6\">.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Trade formally welcomed the project officials for Gelephu and Nganglam\u00a0dry port projects with a simple Tendrel ceremony on July 20, 2021.
