The Journal series are first of its kind to be introduced in the country. The articles in the current series are contributed by professionals of the Department of Geology and Mines (DGM) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs (<\/span><span class=\"s4\">MoEA<\/span><span class=\"s4\">). The journal shall be an annual series.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\"><span class=\"s4\">The objective of the Journal are:<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"s8\">1. <span class=\"s7\">To enhance understanding on geology, mineral resources, mining, mineral development and geological hazards;<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"s8\">2. <span class=\"s7\">To disseminate and create awareness on new developments such as policies, laws, sector performance &amp; statistics, environmental management in mining, strategies &amp; plans, techniques and technologies in the geosciences and mining sector;<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"s8\">3. <span class=\"s7\">To provide scientific platform to the Bhutanese researchers and geoscientists, mining engineers and professionals \u00a0related to geosciences and mining.<\/span><\/div>\n<p class=\"s6\"><a name=\"_gjdgxs\"><\/a><span class=\"s4\">The Journal can be accessed for free from the Ministry\u2019s website <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.moea.gov.bt\/?page_id=943\"><span class=\"s9\">https:\/\/www.moea.gov.bt\/?page_id=943<\/span><\/a><span class=\"s4\"> under publication and reports section.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>His Excellency Tengye Lyonpo launched \u201cGeosciences and Mining Journal of Bhutan (Series-01 and Series-02)\u201d on 23rd\u00a0July 2021.
