A total of 10 CSI entrepreneurs and 12 wholesalers attended the meeting at Hotel Tashi Yoedling. The Director General of the Department of Cottage &amp; Small Industry graced the opening of the meeting. He sought the support of all the retailers and wholesalers in promoting the CSI products, not only with a motive to earn profit but as a part of the social responsibility for long term national economic gains.<\/p>\n<p>The program was organized with an objective to link CSIs with wholesalers so that CSIs can establish a proper and efficient product distribution channel. The Department recognized that difficulty in accessing domestic market by CSIs on account of poor and inefficient distribution channel was a major impediment for the growth and development of CSI sector.<\/p>\n<p>The Department has until now organized such market linkage programs in major towns of 11 dzongkhags across the country and plans to cover whole 20 dzongkhags in the coming years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Cottage &amp; Small Industry organized a meeting between CSI entrepreneurs and wholesalers of Thimphu Thromde on 24th September 2021.
