{"id":12626,"date":"2022-09-28T17:51:18","date_gmt":"2022-09-28T11:21:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.moea.gov.bt\/?p=12626"},"modified":"2022-09-28T17:51:18","modified_gmt":"2022-09-28T11:21:18","slug":"honble-tengye-lyonpo-elected-chair-of-third-ministerial-conference-on-regional-economic-cooperation-and-integration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.moenr.gov.bt\/?p=12626","title":{"rendered":"Hon\u2019ble Tengye Lyonpo Elected Chair of Third Ministerial Conference on Regional Economic Cooperation and Integration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"s4\">In a move that fits with the post-COVID economic recovery efforts of the Royal Government, Hon\u2019ble Tengye Lyonpo has been elected as the chair of the \u201cThird Ministerial Conference on Regional Economic Cooperation and Integration (RECI) in Asia and the Pacific\u201d, which is being held at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC) in Bangkok in a hybrid mode from 28-30<span class=\"s5\">th<\/span> September, 2022. The bureau also elected three vicechairs. The 2<span class=\"s5\">nd<\/span> Ministerial conference was held in 2017.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\">\n<p class=\"s4\">The conference covers wide range of researches, reports and adoption of agendas and resolutions including macroeconomic policy tools, regional cooperation, fiscal and monetary policies besides country statements. It is hosted by UNESCAP and ADB.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.moea.gov.bt\/?attachment_id=12628\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-12628\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-12628\" src=\"https:\/\/www.moea.gov.bt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/02A20F9C-4BAA-48C0-911F-CE2C55EE3D5A-300x107.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"107\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.moenr.gov.bt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/02A20F9C-4BAA-48C0-911F-CE2C55EE3D5A-300x107.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.moenr.gov.bt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/02A20F9C-4BAA-48C0-911F-CE2C55EE3D5A-400x142.jpeg 400w, https:\/\/www.moenr.gov.bt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/02A20F9C-4BAA-48C0-911F-CE2C55EE3D5A.jpeg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\">\n<p class=\"s4\">Lyonpo also delivered a key note address on \u201cEnablingResilience through Trade and Investment for Sustainable Development in Times of Crises\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\">\n<p class=\"s4\">Hon\u2019ble Lyonpo thanked the august hall and representatives during acceptance note for the confidence placed in him and his country.
