The \u2018study\u2019 on Industrial Linkages and Cluster on Mineral Based Industry was carried out by Industrial Development Division as a part of the planned activity of the Department of Industry in the financial year 2017-18. The \u2018study\u2019 is first of its kind and it is expected that business people would take up the idea and make foray into the kind of opportunities that are there.<\/p>\n
The study was carried out since cluster approach to industrial development is known to make industrialists reap benefits of economies of scale tremendously. There is so much that industries could gain from the cluster approach linked by commonalities and complementarities because of the close geographical proximity.<\/p>\n
The \u2018study\u2019 contains crisp and lucid information about market, cluster production requirements, plant location and infrastructure, cluster analysis and linkages, environmental issues, financial and economic analysis etc. of five \u2018mineral based industry\u2019 clusters.<\/p>\n
