The Civil Service Award ceremony of the Ministry of Economic Affairs was held on December 12, 2020. The Secretary, Ministry of Economic Affairs awarded the civil service award to the recipients.
During the award ceremony, the Secretary shared that as per the Royal Command of His Majesty, the civil service award was a way of acknowledging, thanking and expressing gratitude to our civil servants for serving the Tsa-Wa-Sum with much dedication. It was also to serve as a reminder and acknowledgement of the greater responsibilities that are ahead.
This year, 37 civil servants of the Ministry were awarded medals and certificates. There were 22 recipients who had served 10 years or more, another 7 recipients who had served 20 years or more, 4 recipients who had served 30 years or more and 4 recipients were awarded lifetime service awards.
