The Department of Geology and Mines (DGM) would like to notify the public that the Guidelines for Leasing of Mines and Quarries 2022 is hereby adopted for implementation w.e.f 24th August 2022. The Guidelines is prepared in line with the provisions of Mines and Minerals Management Act (MMMA) 1995 and the Mines and Minerals Management Regulations (MMMR) 2022. And it shall repeal the Guideline for Leasing Mines 2019.
