MoENR Participates in the 4th Round GMC Volunteer Engagement

The MoENR team from DoE, DoFPS, DGM, DoW, DECC & NCHM cleared the Mindfulness trail from Rai Drangra to Khenpagang and from Rai Drangra to Phulahari extending about 11km and 2.5km respectively. The first day’s work was initiated with a Lhabsang-Thruesel by the Lam and monks (cleansing & warding-off of any obstacles) at 6:30am. All the thickets, small trees and shrubs were cleared leaving proper line of sights and about 2-5m wide depending on the specific areas. Some viewpoints were also made, sans canopies, wherever panoramic views of the upcoming city is seen. The trail is found to be exhaustive, refreshing and rejuvenating at the same time. The transport and luncheons were well arranged by the organisers to whom the team remained appreciative. The team prayed for the success of the GMC – the noble and novel vision of His Majesty, the health and prosperity of those engaged in its making.
