Country Focused training on “Community Entrepreneurial Capacity and Rural Enterprise Development”

The 17 member participants from NGOs, RTIOs, Dzongkhag Administration, entrepreneurs and officials of DCSI who underwent training on “Community Entrepreneurial Capacity and Rural Enterprise Development” in Japan presented their Action Plan to implement the De-Centralized Hands on Program Exhibition (D-HOPE) to the officials of JICA Bhutan Office and Department of Cottage and Small Industry, MoEA.

The D-HOPE program has been initiated from the perspective of developing cottage and small scale entrepreneurs by enhancing their self-confidence and increasing the income of the local communities. The program is supported by the Japan International cooperation Agency (JICA). The program will be implemented in Dzongkhag of Haa, Paro, Punakha and Thimphu.
