Mines Supervisor Training Conducted

The Department of Geology & Mines, Ministry of Economic Affairs conducted 2 Months long Mines Supervisor Training Course from October 3 to December 2, 2017 to the private mining companies as part of the Technical Capacity enhancement program under the 11th FYP of the government. Total of 38 private mining personnel were trained & certified as Mines Supervisor to be working as technical persons in the various leased Mines & Quarries in the country. This adds to total of 100 trained Mines Supervisor for better management of mines & quarries in the country. The closing of the training was marked by awarding of certificates to the candidates by Director General Phuntsho Tobgay
