His Excellency, Ambassador Kenji Hiramatsu, Embassy of Japan, India led a 29 member business delegation to Bhutan during June 27-30, 2018. The delegation also included representatives from the Japan National Tourism Organization, Japan External Trade Organization and the Embassy of Japan, India.
The Ministry of Economic Affairs organized a half day Japan Bhutan Business Seminar on June 29, 2018 between the business representatives of Japan and business representatives of Bhutan. During the seminar, the Japanese delegation was sensitized on the economic and investment policies of Bhutan. More than 35 private sector representatives from Bhutan attended the seminar and networked with the Japanese representatives. The seminar was also attended by representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forests, Druk Holdings and Investments, Royal Monetary Authority and the Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
