Hon’ble Tengye Lyonpo graced the groundbreaking ceremony of the Mini dry Port in Phuentsholing on 23rd June 2017. The event marked the beginning of an important trade infrastructure project in the country with financial support of the Asian Development Bank. The project will significantly augment trade logistics performance, create better business
environment, reduce trade costs, enhance competitiveness of the Bhutanese export products and improve overall productive capacity of the country. The mini dry port will offer warehousing facilities, loading and unloading of cargos, customs clearance and other related services including immigration and quarantine inspections for the benefit of the businesses. As much as possible, all necessary services for export and import will be offered at the same location.
