Hon’ble Tengye Lyonpo cum Chairman, PHPA-I graced the Project Rimdo at the Dam site of the Punatsangchhu –I Hydroelectric Project on 2nd March 2019.
The Project Rimdo was conducted based on the astrological advice and a 3-day ritual began from Thursday, February 28, 2019. The event was presided over by His Eminence Tulku Thinley, Yonten Lopen Rinpoche of the Zhung Dratshang along with 30 monks and he also donated a Sacred Vase (Sachhu Bumter) which was installed at the left Dam pit on 28.02.2019 coinciding with the auspicious day. They conducted Sadhag Thrukchoed, Sha Dag Sabum, Recitation of Lu Bum, Karnag tra sum, Riwo Sangchhoe and recitation of Bum.
Hon’ble Tengye Lyonpo has already visited the project site three times since taking over of the Office in November 2018 to closely monitor the issues and progress at site and to motivate the project employee to work harder.
