The first of its kind Cottage and Small Industry (CSI) Expo is being organized as part of the Bhutan Economic Forum for Innovative Transformation (BEFIT) Conference 2019 at Royal Thimphu College. Hon’ble Prime Minister Dr. Lotay Tshering launched the event. The objective of the Expo is to bring together potential investors, entrepreneurs and policy makers at one place to interact, physically see the products themselves, and establish business-to-business contacts.
The Expo is the perfect avenue for anyone to discuss challenges and opportunities related to CSI ecosystem, learn from international and regional best practices. Further, it is a platform to network and build linkages for future collaborations to bring about innovation to locally produced goods and services.
