Workshop on Mentorship Curriculum Development for strengthening entrepreneurial ecosystem in Bhutan

Workshop on Mentorship Curriculum Development was conducted for 4-days from 5th – 8th November 2019 in Kathmandu, Nepal organized by Antarprenena, a private Business Incubator with support from International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) in collaboration with Department of Cottage and Small Industry, Ministry of Economic Affairs. The group comprising of entrepreneurs from the Startup Center and the officials of DCSI attended the workshop.

The workshop/exchange program was mainly organized with an objective to strengthen the need for mentorship programs as part of business incubation program at the Startup Center and also to enhance entrepreneurial ecosystem in Bhutan.

Life is too short to learn from your mistakes, its better you learn from someone who have already done and been there. The mentorship programs at Startup Center will help the startups and aspiring entrepreneurs to seek guidance and advices from experienced professionals and senior entrepreneurs, which in turn will ease their pursuit to materialize their idea. Mentors plays a very crucial role in startups lives by sharing their experiences and perspectives, motivating and giving confidence, adding new networks, new skills and knowledge.

As part of the workshop, the team had an opportunity to visit key stakeholders in startup ecosystem of Nepal such as Nepal Communitere and Movers and Shakers. We also had an opportunity to meet with seasoned entrepreneurs who have been mentoring for startups and investors of Nepal.
